Thankful Thursday!

Hello friends.  It has been about a month since my last post and some very exciting things have happened.

1. My mom hosted a jewelry bar and did very well.  She was able to get a $92 value towards her Origami Owl purchase.
2. We have found out that there is NO waiting list right now to join the Origami Owl family.  So that means you can sign up today and you will be immediately invited to purchase your business package. 
3. Origami Owl and The Band Perry are partnering to sell a limited edition tag.  You may pre-order this tag only in September and you can also download their new single, or album.  You will be entered to win one of three exciting grand prizes.  You can go to the website http://2beinspiredlockets.origamiowl.com for more information or you may message me and I will assist you with your order or answer any questions.
4. Origami Owl has started an incentive program.  300 Designers will win a trip to Cabo, all inclusive, except for alcohol. You gotta booze it up on your own dime...LOL.  But still, it is a wonderful trip and if you join my team you can go ahead start working towards qualifying.
5. Finally, just this week, I have sponsored my first Designer, Melissa Greene.  One of my goals as a Designer is to work to get to the next level and qualify for more opportunities.  Not only is this a goal of better compensation, but also it is teaching me skills that will benefit me in day to day life.  Empowerment, leadership, mentoring, setting goals and attaining them, and so MUCH more.  

Thankful Thursday...I'd like to send up a blessing of GRATITUDE for the following things...

I am thankful today for the success of my mom's jewelry bar, and the time that I got to spend with the ladies who came out to support me and my mother. Praises and thanks for the lifting of the waiting list so that new designers do not have to wait for a long time to get their invitations and they can immediately start this exciting career opportunity. Thanks for music and for The Band Perry...as they join us in being a Force for Good and Pioneering Our Future. So, thankful for incentives and the chance to travel...some of us have never even been out of the country (me) and one of the goals I have set for myself is to qualify for the Cabo trip or another incentive trip in the future. And last but certainly not least a huge THANK YOU to Melissa Greene for signing on as a team member and I am so happy that she was set in my path.  

In all these things I am glad and I invite love, peace, joy and success into my heart and my home and extend all these things to all of you my readers.

 

Wet Behind The Wings

Whew, this past week was a busy one at my house.  Saturday I hosted my first Origami Owl Jewelry Bar which was a great time.  Thanks to my girls, Amy, Ellen, and Laura and to my Super Mom, Linda for all of the help and the great support that I needed to make this happen.  Your ideas and insights will help to make my future Jewelry Bars successful.

This first time was very important for me so that I could practice the role of hostess.  You see, as a Designer for Origami Owl, I also have the choice of hosting my own parties in addition to recruiting hostesses for parties where they can earn free jewelry. The role of Hostess is a very important one and that is why we want to treat our hostesses well, not only giving them discounts, freebies, and exclusives, but also our best attention and customer service.

Those of you who are wondering why I didn't have a huge debut and invite everyone I know, can understand that this is also a learning process for me.  My first party was more of a practice for future parties to come.  I have personally spoken to several ladies regarding parties and in a few weeks I hope to announce dates for at least two new parties, one hosted by me and one that my mom has agreed to host in September.

Sending Out Locket Love on Motivation Monday

Good Motivation Monday morning!  I don't know about you guys but I need a third cup of coffee this morning.  Hope everyone has had a great weekend and was able to recharge physically and spiritually over the weekend.  Especially enjoyed spending time with my family as well as being able to be with my church family on Sunday.  I don't know what I would do without the support of both, and I feel truly blessed.

So, this past week was a little challenging to start out, but we pulled through it and had some positive things happen.  I got my very first commission from OO on Friday.  HOOT!  Also, placed an order for more inventory to have on hand when I have my first Party Bar in a few weeks.  I'm so excited to be a Designer with Origami Owl.  I can only see positive things in my future with this awesome company.

Motivation Monday

Hello friends, it is Motivation Monday at Casa de White.  It was a productive week last week. I had my first online FB party, talked to people every day about Origami Owl, recieved some awesome new inventory items from The Nest, and continued to plan for upcoming events.  I have some great ideas for team building and growing my business in the works.  Stay tuned to this Origami Owl blog for more details.

So, Motivational Monday will be a "thing".  Each week, on Monday (hello Captain Obvious), I will share something motivational, a quote, picture or story that I hope gets everyones engines fired up for the week.  Your job will be to share your own motivational quips or pics, either in my blog comments or in the Facebook or Twitter comment fields.  You pick, it doesn't really matter just as long as it is positive and uplifting in some way.  Think empowerment!  Like this...

My First Living Locket

Here is my very first Living Locket. It is the medium silver locket with Cubic Zirconia crystals. The love charm and the owl charm represent my newfound love for Origami Owl products. The dog bone charm represents my Golden Retriever, Fergie. The mom disc is copper and it represents my duty to my children as not only a parent but a Mom. The blue crystal represents my favorite color and the champagne crystal is an accent stone just for fun.

I love the silver chains and lockets, they really fit my personal style. Origami Owl also has lockets and chains in gold, rose gold, chocolate and black. All chains and charms are nickel free and the lockets do not tarnish and are hypo-allergenic.

Since I received my business package, I have been having fun putting together different lockets and showing them off to my family and friends. I have already had several people say that they must have their very own Living Locket and I am hoping to be able to announce my first Jewelry Bar Party very soon.
